Rachel Francis, who runs For All Seasons Photography in Stourport-on-Severn, enlisted the help of one of our students to participate in a global competition to highlight the environmental impact of waste plastics in our oceans, through a powerful photographic image.
HTS Textiles student, Seren in Year 10, embraced the challenge with remarkable dedication, designing a stunning dress made entirely from waste plastics. Due to her creativity and commitment, it was felt that she absolutely deserved to be the model for the final image, as her design was truly inspiring.
The resulting photograph, titled Our Plastic Planet, has since won multiple awards—including first place in the Legacy Photography Awards and recognition from the Aura Photography Awards.
Mr Williams and all HTS staff want to congratulate Seren and Rachel on their collaboration and their outstanding and well deserved success. Well done!
