Holy Trinity School has a vibrant extra-curricular life and international outlook. There is a long tradition of Music within the school, which was formed in 1903 by the Trinitarian Order of Nuns. Although the school became independent in 1985 and became a free school in 2014, this has not changed and Music is still integral and the curriculum is enriched with musical learning and musical experiences.
Arts within the school are a key focus. The musical life within the senior school is strong and the students perform regularly as part of the Chamber Choir and Inner Choir – as well as performing as soloists in a wide range of contexts. Our most recent Choir Tour saw us at the opening of a Music Conservatoire in Valencia, Spain. These large scale performances allow the members of the choir to showcase their considerable talents. All the members of the choir are enthusiastic and passionate about their music.
Most recently the school has staged large scale musical productions of ‘Hairspray’ , ‘Les Miserables’, ‘The Sound of Music’, 'Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat' and a ‘Trinity’s Got Talent’ competition - all well received and highly acclaimed by our audiences.
The Choir performs songs in a variety of styles including musical theatre, sacred, secular and pop – we have a wide ranging and exciting repertoire which all members love to perform.
