Our History
Founded in 1903, Holy Trinity School has evolved to meet the changing needs of its pupils and families while preserving its commitment to high standards, strong relationships and the development of the whole child.

The School Is Founded
Holy Trinity School was established by the Trinitarian Sisters. The Trinitarian tradition has its origins in the religious order founded in the 12th century by St John de Matha and St Felix de Valois.

Becoming a Free School
After many years as an independent school, Holy Trinity became a state-funded Free School. It is governed by Holy Trinity School Academy Trust, a single academy trust and charitable company.

An All-Through School
Holy Trinity is now a co-educational school for pupils from Reception to Year 11. It combines the continuity of an all-through education with the individual support and strong relationships of a relatively small school.
Developing to Meet the Needs of Our Community
The school admits pupils into Reception and provides continuity of education throughout the primary and secondary phases. At Year 7, Holy Trinity welcomes additional pupils from primary schools across Kidderminster, Worcestershire and the wider West Midlands.
This creates a varied school community, bringing together pupils who have progressed through the Prep School and those who join at secondary transition. Our all-through structure helps staff build lasting relationships with pupils and families and supports carefully planned transition between phases.
Holy Trinity historically provided education through to the age of 18. Following a strategic review, the school discontinued its post-16 provision and now concentrates its resources and expertise on providing an excellent education from Reception to Year 11.
