What began as a simple idea has become an exciting reality for a Year 8 student, Kayla, at Holy Trinity School.
Last week, a TikTok video featuring the student and renowned entrepreneur Simon Squibb was shared, almost a year after they first met. The video has already attracted more than 280,000 views, bringing widespread attention to the student's inspiring journey.
Since that first meeting, HTS Business teacher, Mrs Bhanu, has been working closely with Simon Squibb's team to help develop the student's innovative idea. Thanks to their support and the student's determination, the prototype is now complete.
The project highlights the power of creativity, resilience and collaboration, demonstrating what can be achieved when young people are encouraged to pursue their ambitions.
At HTS, we are committed to nurturing creativity, innovation and entrepreneurial thinking, giving students the confidence and opportunities to turn their ideas into reality.
We are incredibly proud of Kayla's achievement and look forward to seeing where this exciting journey leads next.
