There is once again much cause for celebration at Holy Trinity School after Sixth Form students achieved another year of impressive destinations following their A Level results.  100% of students planning to go to university have secured their first choice of university and all but one secured their first choice of course, with that student securing their second choice.  For those students not planning to go to university, a range of pathways are being pursued including apprenticeship routes or a gap year with employment.  We will continue to support students to secure their final destinations.

 Head of Sixth Form, Tamsin Fisher, stated that,  “I am very proud of this cohort who have worked incredibly hard, achieved some very impressive results and are going onto some equally impressive destinations.  I am proud of the young adults that they have become and it has been a privilege to watch them flourish.  I wish them all the best with their next steps.”

All students should be rightly proud of their achievements, especially in Art and Textiles and in Business where 70% of students achieved the top grades of a Distinction or a Distinction *.

Courses and destinations include, Computer Animation and Visual Effects at Portsmouth University,Diagnostic Radiography at Worcester University,  Psychology at at Worcester University, Psychology in Education at Bournemouth University, Interior and Architecture Design at BCU, Diagnostic Radiotherapy at Liverpool University and Biology at Keele University.

Ian Williams, Head teacher, said: “I am delighted at the outcomes achieved by our sixth form students and send my fullest congratulations to them all.  I would like to thank the teachers, support staff and parents for their commitment in encouraging our talented students during their time with us.  We look forward to supporting every student to a positive destination at university, college or in an apprenticeship, further training or employment. I know that these young people will go on to achieve great things and make a positive contribution to society in the future.  Well done and good luck to them all!”
