Sixth Form students following this year's A level results, are looking forward to taking up their places at university, apprenticeships, and to life beyond school.

28% of all grades attained were A to A* with 98% of all grades A* to E. The best performing department was Art and Design and the best academic subject English.

Student university and apprenticeship destinations include the University of UEA for medicine, Leicester University for mathematics, Chester University for forensic phycology, Cardiff University for architectural engineering, Birmingham University for biochemistry and primary education, and Bournemouth University for nursing, with apprenticeships secured at the BBC Hub and in law.

Headteacher, Mrs Leek-Wright commented: “We are absolutely thrilled with our A level results which are some of the best results students at Holy Trinity have ever achieved.

“With 28% of all grades being A to A* it is evident that our students have worked incredibly hard and are truly deserving of their placements at university, on apprenticeship schemes or in job offers they have already received.

“Great results that will ensure opportunity and choice.”
