Our Careers Fair featured exhibitors from a diverse array of local businesses and organisations provided senior students with an opportunity to discuss and consider future career paths.
Careers Fairs are extremely valuable in providing students with direct access to potential employers, as well as insights into various industries and professions. They offer a platform for students to ask questions, seek advice, and to gain a clearer understanding of the skills and qualifications required for different career paths. Moreover, they enable students to network with professionals, which can then lead to work placements, internships, and even future employment opportunities.
Organisations at the event included: Harlow Timber Kidderminster LLP, Taylor Wimpey Outreach, Armstrong Fluid Technology, SGM Music Group, Waldrons Solicitors, Eden Hotels, Community Housing, Police, Kidderminster College and representatives from West Midlands Careers, WEBP and recruitment and apprenticeship advisors.Assistant Headteacher Mrs Fisher commented: “Our Careers Fair was a great success and included several local employers, and it was highly rewarding to observe students actively engaged and involved, inspired, and full of ideas about their future aspirations.”
