Holy Trinity students are now looking forward to taking up their places in the school’s sixth form and continuing their education journey.
Deputy Head Mrs da Costa commented: “It has been fantastic to see our Year 11 students to receive their well earnt results this morning. They should be proud of their achievements despite the disruptions to their education through the Covid pandemic. Students can go and enjoy the remainder of their holidays ready for the start of term on Monday 5th September.”
Students attained 81% overall for grades 9 to 4, with the sciences of Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and the arts of Textiles, Art and Graphics all enjoying excellent results in this summer’s examinations.
Headteacher, Mrs Leek-Wright, added: “At Holy Trinity we have always focused our efforts on providing students with personalised education, considering both academic and personal progress. During the difficult times of the last few years, staff and students have worked in effective partnership, which has enabled all students to create opportunity and choice in securing their chosen pathways ahead.
“We are absolutely thrilled with our GCSE results and our students should be extremely proud of all that they have achieved.
