We are delighted for our students on their GCSE results as they now look forward to sixth form and continuing their educational journey.
Taking his GCSE examinations early, 14-year-old Jacob C. in Year 9 achieved grade 9 across the board including in Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, with the school’s students attaining 100% grade 7 and above in Art, 93.75% in Chemistry, 87.5% Physics and 90.63% in Biology grade 4 and above.
Despite the interruptions to students’ education during covid Holy Trinity students have achieved very well this year attaining 77% 9-4 grades in English and 76% 9-4 in Maths.
Deputy Head Mrs da Costa commented: “It is always rewarding to see students collecting their results following the hard work and effort they have put into their studies over the past two years, and this will support them well as they continue with their A levels and college courses.”
Holy Trinity’s Headteacher, Mrs Leek-Wright, added: “We would like to congratulate students in their achievements, the results of which reflect the work they have undertaken over their GCSE courses. We are particularly delighted with results in our core subjects with Science and Arts being our highest performing departments. We wish all students well in their next steps.”
